Care of Lucky Bamboo Plant

How to take care of Lucky Bamboo plant is reputedly straightforward and generally easy to grow and maintain... even if you don't have any previous experience of caring for these plants.

It is this reputation for ease of caring for these plants that has led to an increase in their popularity, particularly for homes and offices where owners of the plants are not always available to provide regular plant maintenance.

Of course, you can also get some unusual shapes and arrangements of these plants stalks and they do look quite different to other house plants. Their uniqueness can lead to presenting an interesting conversation piece.

Environment

Feng Shui Lucky Bamboo

Along with the hardiness of these plants towards regular care requirements they can survive quite well in low light which makes them ideal as indoor plants.

They may have similar characteristics to usual bamboos but they are not among the species of 'real' bamboos, in reality they are members of the Lily family.

Tropical plants such as these do thrive in environments indoors, with little or low lighting, and sixty five to eighty degree temperature ranges. Again, ideal for homes and office environments.

They can also grow without soil and with just a little water which backs up the idea of little maintenance needs for care of Lucky Bamboo plant.

They can grow in jars or vases made of glass or ceramics, with the inclusion of rocks and pebbles for decoration and to add weight and stability to the pot. The stones also add a bit of character to the stalks arrangements.

Care

Although these plants are relatively easy to care for in comparison to many other house and office plants, and they don't take up a lot of time in maintaining, don't fall into the misconceived trap that these plants are totally indestructible. You must not expect any plants to just look after themselves. Care of Lucky Bamboo plant still remains to be important if you want it to survive, whether received as a gift or purchased for yourself, caring for plants in whatever way they need is an important factor in their survival.

Follow the instructions provided on the plants maintenance section of the site and your plant will last for some years and look better because it will be in good health.

I will often buy plants from suppliers listed on eBay. I like it because you can read all the feedback from previous customers before you order to see if the plants any seller delivers are consistently of good quality and they are delivered on time. Sellers do not want bad feedback and provide a good service to ensure repeat custom.
